A Simple Way To Make A Mother's Day Flower Card

Mother's Day is just around the corner and what better way to show your love and appreciation than with a handmade card? This blog post will guide you through the process of creating a beautiful and unique Mother's Day card using the "Find Me In The Garden" clear stamp set. With just a few simple steps, you can create a personalized card that your mom will cherish. To get started, choose a background paper that you like and cut it to fit the size of your card. Using a glue tape rubber and apply around the edges of your card to ensure that the paper stays in place. Gently press around the edges to secure it.

Next, choose another carstock paper of contrasting style that will layer on top of the background, creating a border frame for your card design. This will add a beautiful finishing touch to your card. Carefully place the top layer of card stock onto the background and make any necessary adjustments. Your card is now ready for the next step.

Tip: Before applying the top layer, we choose to use a corner rounder, to soften the edges of our design.

Next, take your free Cricut cuts from the "Find Me In The Garden" clear stamp set, and using a stamp block, carefully align the stamp with your cutout and press down firmly. Repeat this process with each stamp until you have stamped all of your images.

Tip: Lightly tap and coat the ink pad onto the clear stamp and use light but firm pressure when placing the stamp onto the paper. Handle your stamped images carefully as pigment ink can take a few minutes to dry.

Once your garden scene is complete, you can opt into adding a custom message like we did, with a alphabet stamp set. Align you greeting on the acrylic block and stamp it onto a seperate peice of paper.

Tip: If you have an acrylic block with grid lines, this will help you easily align your letters.

Now it's time to add some color to your card. Using your favorite markers or colored pencils, color in the boot stamp to make it stand out in your garden scene.

Finally, it's time to glue any additional embellishments or accents to the card. You can use stickers, sequins, lace, or even small pieces of paper to add extra detail and dimension to your card.
