Andi Holland and Meghann Dodge launched their event planning business, Bowties & Bubby Events, in early May 2015. Catering to the "DIY wedding couple" that is looking to incorporate unique personalization to their wedding day, Andi and Meghann truly aim to get to know their clients on a personal level. When the wedding arrives, B&B Events makes sure it actually represents the couple.
Bowties & Bubbly Events Offer A Personal Touch
"Sounds like your typical wedding planner statement: 'We really strive to get to know each of our clients…blah, blah, blah,'" Andi said. "BUT, we want to know the nitty gritty! What do you do on Tuesday nights? Order Chinese food and watch Star Wars? Let’s figure out how to tie that in on your wedding day!"
When it came time to find a logo that would fit the brand of Bowties & Bubbly, the business partners turned to friend Matthew Wyne at Wyne Enterprises.
"He created a logo for us that is romantic, professional, and never ever used before because it’s one of a kind!" Andi said.
The women purchased a customized stamp of the logo from RubberStamps.com to imprint on business cards, following the DIY theme of the brand.
"We are constantly receiving compliments when handing out our cards," said Andi. "Folks love the uniqueness of using a stamp, they comment on the different colored cards we use, and the personal touch that it offers (we hand write all of our contact info on the back).
"It’s hand crafted with a little touch of love that people don’t see much anymore with the popularity of printed business cards."
