Classic "Bravo Grads!" Instructions

1. Layer and stamp your white cardstock

First, gather all of your materials so you have them accessible to you. Next, you'll want to layer your craft papers to create a design or pattern you like. Just be sure to have your white card stock on top. From there, you will place the card onto a craft mat. Using clear stamps is easy, simply peel your stamp from it backing sheet and place it onto an acrylic stamp block. Since the photopolymer is slightly tacky, sticking and removing won't be an issue.

With your choice of pigment ink, ink your stamp then stamp it onto the white card stock. We are using the VersaMark watermark stamp pad in today's project.

2. Embossing your stamps

Now it's time to emboss your stamp design. While your design is still wet, take your choice of embossing powder and pour it over the stamped area. Tap off the excess powder onto a separate piece of paper where you can pour it back into the container for future use.

Set the embossing powder by using a heat gun. Move in a circular motion for a few seconds. You'll know your embossing powder is set when it turns shiny and looks raised and solid.

3. Repeat with the other designs

Now that you've completed your first embossed design, repeat steps 1 and 2 with the other designs you want to use.

Tip: Embossing small sections or one design at a time will help eliminate embossing powder mixing and keep the design sharp and clean.

4. Optional: Embellishing the card

To make your card pop even more, you can add embellishments to the card. We are incorporating pearls, gems, and additional line work to really give it that WOW factor.

And just like that, you've created your own classic graduation card. Bravo! We are so happy you stuck around and did this craft with us.
