How to Make a Unicorn Card

Gather your materials and pre-cut your stamp images using your Cricut and our free Cricut - I Believe in You-nicorns.

Personalize your clouds by either cutting them out by hand or using your Cricut for a layered appearance. For a fun twist, cut out a few clouds with vellum for a frosty or shadowy effect. Don't forget your craft mat or paper to safeguard your surface.

Grab your trusty blending tool and dip it into your favorite dye ink pad. Blend away using small circular motions; this will help you achieve a gorgeous ombre effect. Repeat this with all your ink colors.

We recommend using Ranger mini-ink blending tool paired with Ranger Archival ink pads. For this project, we are using colors vibrant fuchsia, majestic violet, and aquamarine.

Using clear stamps is easy, simply peel your stamp from it backing sheet and place onto an acrylic stamp block. The photopolymer is slightly tacky, so your stamp can easily stick and be removed from your stamp block.

Ink your stamp with the ink pad with color of your choice. In this project we are using black dye ink. Repeat this step with all your designs. Once the ink has dried, color your design in using any markers.

Start by layering your white cardstock and vellum clouds. Once happy with the layering, take 3-D foam dots, and place them on the back of white cardstock. Then, stack both cardstock and vellum clouds together. By doing this, it'll give your clouds some depth and shadows.

Optional: Add shading to your clouds for dimensions! We are using Rangers detail blending tools to help us get into the small edges.

Begin by gluing the clouds onto the card. Remember to write or stamp your message beforehand for a clean, crisp look. You can elevate your message using embossing powder and a heat gun. Lastly, attach your unicorns, and you're all set to go!

If you want to add a 3D effect to your card, consider embellishing with pearls. It will surely add extra charm to this masterpiece.
